Dr. Maria Zazzi, DC, BSc
Dr. Maria Zazzi's journey in health and wellness, rooted in a deep passion for optimal health, has taken her from the University of Alberta to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and beyond. After opening her first clinic in Northern BC in 2012, Dr. Zazzi expanded her expertise while working in the Cayman Islands for six years, collaborating with various health professionals. Returning to her hometown in Fort St. John, BC in 2021, she has since embraced motherhood with twin sons and a renewed focus on pediatric and prenatal/postnatal care.
Dr. Zazzi's approach to wellness is holistic, emphasizing continual education in health, nutrition, and preventive care. An active lifestyle advocate, she enjoys running, hiking, cooking, Yoga, and Pilates. Her dedication to patient wellness was recognized with awards for Clinical Excellence in 2012 and Entrepreneur of the Year in 2014.
As a diversified chiropractor, Dr. Zazzi employs a variety of techniques tailored to each patient's needs, including gentle spinal mobilizations, Kinesio taping, and Myofascial Release Techniques. She is certified in Neuro-Emotional Technique and Craniosacral Therapy, blending modern chiropractic care with lifestyle guidance and rehabilitative exercises for a comprehensive, patient-centered treatment approach.
Kassidy Callison, BHK
Hailing from Fort St. John, Kassidy's upbringing cultivated a profound love for the outdoors and an active lifestyle. She excelled in sports, particularly soccer and volleyball, earning the prestigious Athlete of the Year award upon graduating from NPSS in 2016.
Driven by a desire to help others, she pursued a degree in Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia Okanagan in Kelowna. Her dedication to health and fitness led her to become a Certified Personal Trainer and a Pre and Post Natal Exercise Specialist.
For the past six years, Kassidy has enjoyed the sunny Okanagan, indulging in outdoor activities with her fiancé, Ross, and their dog, Mabel. As a personal trainer for the past year, she is passionate about helping clients become their best selves, emphasizing proper movement and exercise techniques. Her ultimate goal is to empower individuals to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle as they age.
